Hyderabad: Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy conducted a surprise inspection of the Government Hospital in Huzurabad and demanded the immediate KCR Kit revival for pregnant women and new mothers.

During the visit, the MLA interacted with patients and reviewed the medical services available at the hospital. He also met pregnant women and mothers who had recently delivered and enquired about their health condition and the facilities being provided.

Speaking on the occasion, Kaushik Reddy said the previous BRS government had provided KCR Kits to women after delivery. He alleged that the Congress government had discontinued the scheme after coming to power.

The MLA urged the State government to immediately implement the KCR Kit revival and restore benefits for eligible women.

He also instructed hospital officials to ensure the availability of medicines and prevent inconvenience to patients.

Kaushik Reddy stressed the need to maintain cleanliness across the hospital premises and provide quality healthcare services to all patients.

He warned that authorities should not tolerate negligence towards patients and asked doctors to remain responsive to public needs.

The MLA also called on the government to provide additional modern medical equipment to the hospital and fill vacant medical staff positions at the earliest.

Several BRS leaders and party workers accompanied him during the inspection.
