Telangana to showcase growth roadmap at Davos WEF 2026

Hyderabad: Telangana will host a special event at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos. The event aims to present its long-term development vision and position itself as a global investment destination.

The exclusive programme, titled Telangana Rising, will be held on January 20 and feature Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy along with global CEOs, industry leaders, and policy experts. The event aims to promote the Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap and attract investments across key sectors.

The delegation will highlight opportunities in IT, life sciences, renewable energy, and manufacturing. Officials will also present the state’s CURE, PURE, and RARE frameworks. Additionally, they will showcase transformative projects like Bharat Future City, the Musi River rejuvenation, the Regional Ring Road, and manufacturing zones.

Telangana at Davos to unveil AI, life sciences policy

The government will officially launch the Telangana Life Sciences Policy 2026–2030. They will also announce new Telangana AI Hubs during the event. These initiatives are part of the state’s broader push for innovation-led growth.

The presentation will also spotlight major Global Capability Centers (GCCs). These have been set up in Hyderabad by multinational firms such as Vanguard, Netflix, McDonald’s, and L’Oréal.

CM Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to highlight Telangana’s strong GSDP growth. They should also emphasize progressive industrial policies and long-term plans under the Telangana Rising 2047 vision.
