Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Thursday said Hyderabad, currently ranked second, is poised to become the number one global hub for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). He was addressing a GCC meet held at Novotel, where he served as chief guest.
KTR remarked that Hyderabad has already emerged as the capital of GCCs. He expressed confidence that the city will soon surpass Bengaluru to take the top position globally.
Hyderabad GCC hub growth rooted in decade-long reforms: KTR
He credited the previous Telangana government for laying the foundation that made this growth possible. “For ten years, we worked across sectors to build strong systems, laws, and reforms—not just on individuals, but for lasting institutional impact,” he said.
As a result, Hyderabad now leads in attracting global investments in banking, pharma, healthcare, and IT. KTR noted that these sectors have brought massive international capital and companies to the city.
He urged chartered accountants and professionals to tap into Hyderabad’s vast potential and contribute to drawing more investments. “Whether in government or not, we always wish for Telangana to receive large-scale investments,” he said.
