Hyderabad: Telangana Farmer Commission chairman Kodanda Reddy and commission members met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence. During the meeting, they submitted the crop diversification report prepared by the panel.
Minister Vakiti Srihari also attended the meeting. The discussion focused on agricultural planning and diversification of cropping patterns in the state.
The Chief Minister said the government would hold detailed discussions on the report before taking further decisions.
Crop diversification report to undergo further study
According to Revanth Reddy, the government also plans to organise a special Assembly discussion on crop diversification and agricultural policies.
The Chief Minister said the issue required further study and analysis. He asked the Farmer Commission to submit more constructive recommendations on diversification measures.
Senior members of the commission participated in the discussions on future agricultural planning in Telangana.
