Sunpreet Singh reviews policing in Siddipet, orders stronger crime control measures

Hyderabad: Sunpreet Singh visit to the Siddipet Police Commissionerate focused on strengthening policing, crime control and public safety, with the senior IPS officer directing officials to expedite pending investigations, improve cybercrime awareness and expand CCTV surveillance across villages.

Shri Sunpreet Singh, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad, and DIG, Rajanna Zone-III (Full Additional Charge), visited the Siddipet Police Commissionerate and Siddipet 3-Town Police Station. During the visit, he reviewed policing, crime trends and station administration with senior officers.

He instructed officials to speed up CCTNS upgrades and dispose of pending cases at the earliest. He also directed officers to intensify action against offences under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Sunpreet Singh visit stresses cyber safety and village CCTV expansion

The senior officer asked police personnel to expand cybercrime awareness programmes and strengthen the outreach of She Teams. He also called for increased visible policing, regular vehicle checks and intensified patrolling to improve public safety.

Emphasising people-centric policing, Sunpreet Singh directed officers to further strengthen public engagement. He appreciated the “Mana Police Mana Ooru” and “Siddipet Suraksha Netra” initiatives and instructed officials to expand the CCTV network to all villages under the commissionerate.
