Deputy Mayor Srilatha focuses on road fixes, civic issues in Greater Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shoban Reddy has directed officials to urgently address civic issues. These include damaged roads, poor drainage, and malfunctioning streetlights across the city.

Speaking on Thursday, she said her actions were in line with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar’s instructions. Their aim is to improve living conditions under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). She asked GHMC engineers and field officers to prioritize traffic-sensitive zones. Additionally, she instructed them to complete all pending roadworks without delay.

Srilatha also called for the swift redressal of public complaints related to civic infrastructure, asking officials to respond promptly and finish ongoing works within deadlines.
