Sridhar Babu unveils innovation book, opens rice centre in Manthani

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Industries, IT, and Legislative Affairs Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Wednesday said the state government continues to promote innovation across sectors.

He launched the Mindset Maker book for 100 students at the ‘Manthani Dream Start’ office in Manthani town. The event was organised by T-Works. Sridhar Babu also distributed English-to-Telugu books and encouraged students to dream big and pursue their goals. He quoted former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to inspire the children.

The minister praised local students who developed an agricultural power feeder and a modern helmet. He called their efforts promising. He added that the Dream Start Rise programme now runs in 20 schools across Peddapalli district.

Later, he inaugurated a paddy procurement centre run by the Agricultural Cooperative Society at Pochammavada. Earlier in the day, he opened a synthetic tennis court at Manthani Junior College, built at a cost of ₹44 lakh.

Sridhar Babu also met the family of former Manthani sarpanch Odnala Srinivas and offered condolences on the passing of Srinivas’s father.

RDO Suresh, Tahsildar Kumaraswamy, Municipal Commissioner Venkanna, and local leaders Kududala Venkanna, Kotha Srinivas, Prasad, and Shashibhushan Kache joined the events.
