Special TG TET-2 notification released for in-service teachers, applications from October 7

Hyderabad: The Telangana School Education Department has released the notification for the Special TG TET-2 examination. The test targets in-service teachers working in government schools, gurukuls and model schools across the State.

School Education Director Naveen Nicolas and TET convener Gajarla Ramesh released the examination schedule on Thursday.

According to the schedule, eligible teachers can apply for the special TET through the official website. The application window will open on October 7 and close on October 16.

Meanwhile, officials have scheduled the online examination from November 16 to 21.

Special TET-2 linked to Supreme Court orders

The department has introduced the special test following directions from the Supreme Court. Under the court’s orders, teachers must hold a TET qualification to continue in their present posts or seek promotion to higher posts.

Teachers can apply online from October 7

Eligible teachers must submit their applications through the official Telangana School Education Department website. The application process will remain open for 10 days.

Teachers should complete the application process within the prescribed dates. They should also check the official notification for eligibility requirements and other examination instructions before submitting their applications.
