Shabbir Ali mourns death of Islamic scholar Salman Nadwi

Hyderabad: Telangana Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir expressed grief over the death of renowned Islamic scholar, author and educator Maulana Syed Salman Hussaini Nadwi. The scholar passed away in Lucknow after a brief illness.

Shabbir Ali described the death of Salman Nadwi as a major loss to Islamic scholarship and religious education. He said the scholar earned global recognition for his expertise in Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, Seerah and contemporary Islamic studies.

Shabbir Ali said Maulana Salman Nadwi shaped generations of students through his teaching, writings and educational initiatives. He added that the scholar made lasting contributions to Islamic thought and learning.

The adviser also recalled Salman Nadwi’s long association with Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama. He said the scholar remained committed to educational reform and community development throughout his life.

Shabbir Ali described Salman Nadwi as an inspiring teacher, an eloquent speaker and a fearless voice on issues concerning the Muslim world.

He conveyed condolences to the bereaved family, students, followers and admirers. He also prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for those mourning his loss.
