SC Study Circle trainee dies after fall in Adilabad

Hyderabad: An SC Study Circle trainee died after falling from the centre’s building in Adilabad on Sunday. Durgam Swamiram, 26, was undergoing a free five-month foundation course at the centre.

The incident occurred at the SC Study Circle centre in Ramnagar Colony under Mavala Police Station limits. Swamiram belonged to Nagampet in Kotapelli mandal of Mancherial district.

Swamiram had completed his degree before joining the foundation course. He had one more month of training remaining when the incident occurred.

On Sunday morning, Swamiram went with fellow candidates to have tiffin. After that, he went to the upper floor of the Study Circle building.

A short while later, Swamiram fell from the building and suffered serious injuries. His fellow candidates immediately took him to RIMS Hospital for medical treatment.

Doctors examined him at the hospital and confirmed that he had already died. The incident was reported to police, who later took up an investigation based on a complaint from his family.

Mavala Circle Inspector BD Prem Kumar said police had registered a case following the family’s complaint. He added that an investigation was underway into the incident.
