According to the minister, the state government was conducting Vanamahotsavam programmes across Telangana as part of the 99-day Praja Palana–Pragati Plan initiative.
She said the government developed two eco parks named “Amrutavanam” and “Harithavanam” near Bonthapalli in Sangareddy district.
Environmental protection programme includes eco parks

She added that the government would also consider introducing night-stay facilities based on tourist response.
The minister stated that the Forest Department was taking special measures to protect forest areas.
According to her, officials installed strong fencing around reserve forests to prevent wild animals from entering villages.
