RS Praveen Kumar slams CM Revanth Reddy over delay in textbooks for welfare colleges

Hyderabad: BRS senior leader RS Praveen Kumar on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accusing his government of pushing the state’s education system into crisis.

He expressed serious concern over the non-availability of textbooks in social welfare residential colleges, even three months after the academic year began.

‘Is this why education portfolio is with you?’

Praveen Kumar, a former IPS officer known for his work in welfare education, questioned the rationale behind the Chief Minister retaining the education portfolio. He said students are still crying out for textbooks in many colleges across Telangana.

“Is this why you kept the education department with yourself? Under your leadership, Telangana is not moving towards developmentit is sinking,” he stated.

CM must wake up, says BRS leader

He warned that the state’s educational foundations are deteriorating under the Congress regime and urged the Chief Minister to take immediate corrective action. “Revanth Reddy must wake up before it’s too late,” he added.
