Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday said Hyderabad is emerging as a global showcase for India, with Telangana aiming to become a $1 trillion economy.
Speaking at the inauguration of Sonata Software’s new campus in Nanakramguda, the CM said Telangana’s balanced push for economic growth, jobs, welfare, and infrastructure under the Rising Telangana mission has positioned the state as a top investment destination.
Referring to Hyderabad hosting the Miss World pageant, Revanth Reddy said the state government is planning more global events to keep Telangana in the international spotlight.
“Hyderabad is racing ahead across all sectors. We want every citizen to become a brand ambassador for the city. Let’s show our success to the world,” he said.
He said Telangana is now a hub for global capability centres, AI-ready data infrastructure, and manufacturing. He claimed several top companies are expanding their footprint in the city.
Since December 2023, the state has attracted ₹3 lakh crore in fresh investments and generated over one lakh jobs, the CM said. He pointed to the ₹1.78 lakh crore worth of investment deals signed in Davos 2025 as proof of Telangana’s top rank among Indian states for drawing domestic and international capital.
He said Telangana now leads in policing, law and order, inflation control, employment generation, and tax collection.
On welfare, he said 66 lakh women are being empowered through SHGs, youth are being supported with entrepreneurship funding via Rajiv Yuva Vikasam, and Telangana is the first state to include transgender volunteers in the Hyderabad traffic force.
Revanth Reddy also outlined upcoming projects including dry ports, connectivity with Andhra Pradesh sea ports, an AI-focused “Future City”, youth skill initiatives, sports universities, and integrated residential schools.
