Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed deep sorrow over the death of Dr. Subhash C. Kashyap, former Lok Sabha Secretary-General and a renowned constitutional scholar.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said India had lost one of its foremost experts on the Constitution, constitutional law and parliamentary affairs.
He said Dr. Kashyap made significant contributions to strengthening parliamentary democracy through his scholarship and public service.
The Chief Minister noted that his work enriched constitutional discourse and left a lasting impact on democratic institutions.

Revanth Reddy recalled that Dr. Kashyap had been associated with the Parliament of India since 1953 and served with distinction during his long career.
He said the veteran scholar earned recognition for his expertise in constitutional and parliamentary matters.
The Chief Minister described Dr. Kashyap’s contributions as invaluable to the functioning and evolution of democratic institutions in the country.
Revanth Reddy conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and members of the parliamentary fraternity.
