Revanth Reddy pays tribute to Ambedkar, highlights welfare measures

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy paid tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, recalling his contributions to social justice and constitutional values.

He praised Ambedkar’s efforts for the uplift of the oppressed sections. At the same time, he highlighted his role in empowering Dalits, Adivasis, backward classes and women. As a result, he described Ambedkar as a guiding force for inclusive governance.

The Chief Minister said Ambedkar drafted the Constitution with vision and foresight. He added that his work continued to inspire future generations. Therefore, he called his life a model for society.

Ambedkar’s birth anniversary highlights welfare and reforms

Revanth Reddy urged citizens to follow Ambedkar’s ideals and work towards equality. He said the government drew inspiration from his ideology while making key decisions.

He said the government implemented SC sub-caste categorisation and enhanced BC reservations. In addition, it continued the SC/ST Sub-Plan and prioritised the welfare of Dalit and tribal communities.

The Chief Minister said the government increased mess charges and cosmetic allowances in welfare hostels. He added that these measures aimed to support students from weaker sections.

He announced plans to establish a Young India Integrated Residential School in every Assembly constituency. Consequently, he said, children from all sections would receive quality education in one place.

He reiterated that the government would continue to work for social justice and inclusive development.
