Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said there was no room for Congress govt irregularities, rejecting allegations of corruption in the Singareni coal mines tenders and asserting that his administration would not tolerate wrongdoing.
He said certain sections were attempting to damage the image of Congress leaders and the government due to disputes among media organisations. The Chief Minister made it clear that baseless allegations were unacceptable and insisted that transparency would be maintained in all government actions.
Revanth Reddy made these remarks during his visit to Khammam district, where he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several development works in Edulapuram municipality. He also met elected representatives and party leaders during the tour.
He told party members that anyone with concerns about Congress leaders should approach him directly. As the head of the party in the state, he said he was ready to offer explanations and responsibly address grievances.
Development push amid Congress govt irregularities claims
During the visit, Revanth Reddy participated in groundbreaking ceremonies for a nursing college, the Maddulapalli agricultural market, a JNTU college, and a 100-bed government hospital at Kusumanchi. He said these projects reflected the Congress government’s commitment to rapid development in the region.
The Chief Minister stated that Khammam and the combined district were witnessing accelerated growth as Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy represented the area in the Cabinet. He urged party workers to ensure a decisive Congress victory in the upcoming municipal elections.
Revanth Reddy also called for the development of the Bhadrachalam temple under the leadership of ministers from Khammam district. He said the aim was to upgrade the temple on the lines of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, while ensuring planned and orderly development.
