NIMS hospital inspection by Damodar Rajanarsimha focuses on patient services

Hyderabad: State Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha conducted a NIMS hospital inspection at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences on Saturday, reviewing key patient services and facilities.

During the visit, he inspected the outpatient block along with NIMS Director Dr Beerappa and Superintendent Dr Satyanarayana. He examined outpatient registration, pharmacy services and sample collection laboratories.

The minister interacted with patients and enquired about the quality of services. He advised hospital authorities to ensure better medical facilities and improved service delivery. He stressed the need for patient-friendly systems during the inspection.

NIMS hospital inspection reviews patient care facilities

The NIMS hospital inspection focused on improving service standards in critical areas. Damodar Rajanarsimha reviewed operations in the OP section and assessed how efficiently patients received services.

He interacted with several patients and gathered feedback on hospital functioning. Based on their responses, he suggested measures to enhance service quality and reduce inconvenience.

Officials accompanied him throughout the inspection and explained the functioning of different departments. The minister emphasised continuous monitoring to maintain healthcare standards.

As part of the NIMS hospital inspection, the minister also visited Vimala, wife of late balladeer Gaddar, who was undergoing treatment at the hospital.

He enquired about her health condition with doctors and reviewed the treatment being provided. He directed medical staff to ensure proper care and attention during her recovery.

The minister’s visit highlighted the government’s focus on strengthening public healthcare services and improving patient experience in major hospitals.
