Hyderabad: The Government Girls Junior College in Nizamabad received the Nizamabad junior college award at the state level for its performance and services in education. State Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy presented the best college award to Principal Gandham Buddhiraj at a function in Hyderabad.
HMTV and The Hans India jointly organised the awards event. Organisers selected government colleges and schools based on performance and service standards. The ceremony took place at RTC Kalabhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday.
HMTV and The Hans India Managing Director Hanumantha Rao and Editor Venkat Reddy attended the event. They presented awards to institutions that showed consistent academic results and service quality.

Speaking after receiving the Nizamabad junior college award, Principal Gandham Buddhiraj said the honour brought pride to the institution. He stated that the combined effort of teaching and non-teaching staff led to the achievement.
He appreciated the dedication shown by the entire college team. According to him, their contribution played a key role in securing the recognition at the state level.
The principal said the award increased responsibility on the institution. Therefore, he assured that the college would work harder for further development and better results.
