Hyderabad: World champion boxer and Telangana Police Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nikhat Zareen met Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) C.V. Anand as part of official protocol. During the meeting, the police chief praised her achievements and encouraged her to continue inspiring young athletes.

Sharing details of the meeting on social media, C.V. Anand said Nikhat Zareen, who hails from Nizamabad, visited him with her father, Jameel Khan. Interestingly, the DGP recalled playing cricket with Jameel Khan during his tenure as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the district.
Moreover, the DGP commended Nikhat’s achievements in international boxing. He said she has represented India with distinction on the global stage.

According to C.V. Anand, Nikhat Zareen’s career reflects perseverance, determination and continuous self-improvement. Furthermore, he said her journey highlights the importance of discipline, physical fitness and mental resilience. He added that these qualities are essential in both sports and policing.
Meanwhile, he encouraged the boxer to stay focused on her goals. He also urged her to continue motivating aspiring sportspersons across the country.
Finally, the DGP expressed confidence that Nikhat Zareen would bring many more honours to Telangana, India and the Telangana Police. He also wished her strength and success in her upcoming boxing competitions.
