Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy extended support to the family of Gadusu Navya after her death in a road accident in the United States.
The Nalgonda student body is scheduled to arrive at Shamshabad International Airport early on Friday.
Meanwhile, the State government arranged transportation of the mortal remains to India at its own expense after the Minister intervened.
Navya belonged to Cheruvugattu village in Narketpally mandal of Nalgonda district.
She was the daughter of Gadusu Srinivas Reddy and Shobha. Navya travelled to the United States for higher education.
Later, she planned to support her family after completing her Master’s degree.
However, her death left the family in deep distress. Reports said her parents sold land and borrowed money to fund her education.
