Hyderabad: Minister Vakiti Srihari inaugurated a tea stall run by one of his followers in Narayanpet, saying the initiative gave him personal satisfaction by creating a livelihood. Vakiti Srihari emphasized the importance of such small ventures.
Speaking on the occasion, Srihari said the venture was small in scale. However, he said providing employment to even one person mattered greatly to him. Vakiti Srihari reiterated his commitment to supporting his followers.
He said he consistently tried to support those who worked under him and placed trust in his leadership. According to him, helping followers earn a stable income remained a priority.
Minister facilitates livelihood support at bus stand area
To make the initiative possible, Srihari held discussions with the Narayanpet RTC Depot authorities. Vakiti Srihari secured official permission to run the tea stall on a monthly rental basis.
The minister said the stall now operates in the bus stand area, which usually remained unused. He also provided financial assistance to help set up the tea stall.
Srihari said many political workers often feel ignored once elections end. Therefore, he said standing by supporters and guiding them toward self-employment was important.
Local residents welcomed the move. They said the minister showed commitment by ensuring a livelihood instead of abandoning his follower after political needs were over.
