Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University organised a madrasa teachers workshop at Shaheen Girls College in Karimnagar to train teachers in modern teaching methods and technology-based learning tools.
The programme was held under the title “Pedagogy for Madrasa”. The Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers at MANUU organised the workshop.
The programme aimed to equip madrasa teachers with modern teaching skills suited to present educational requirements. Sessions focused on teaching strategies, student engagement and effective curriculum delivery methods.
Officials also provided practical training on the educational use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva and NotebookLM.

Professor Sami Siddiqui, Dr Sheikh Waseem, Dr Sirajuddin Qasmi and Dr Umar Farooq from MANUU participated as resource persons during the workshop.
Shaheen College, Karimnagar, Director Afzal also addressed the participants and shared insights on teaching practices.
Participants actively took part in question-and-answer sessions and practical activities conducted during the programme.
Teachers described the workshop as useful and timely. They also stressed the need to continue similar training programmes for madrasa teachers in the future.
At the end of the programme, organisers distributed certificates to participants and thanked the guests, resource persons and attendees.
