KTR promises support to Padma Shri awardee Mogulaiah

Hyderabad: BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao promised full support to Padma Shri awardee Darshanam Mogulaiah after the Telangana folk artist met him to discuss health and property issues.

Mogulaiah informed KTR that his eyesight had worsened, making medical treatment difficult. Responding promptly, KTR assured that his eye treatment would be arranged at LV Prasad Eye Hospital.

The folk artist also raised concerns over a land dispute involving a 600-square-yard plot allotted to him by the previous BRS government in Hayathnagar mandal. He reported facing legal complications and threats related to the property.

Acting immediately, KTR called Rangareddy District Collector Narayana Reddy and directed him to resolve the matter without delay. He instructed the official to ensure safety for Mogulaiah’s family and assist with legal proceedings.

Mogulaiah expressed gratitude to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, crediting his recognition of the traditional ‘Kinnera’ art for the national acclaim that culminated in the Padma Shri honour. He thanked KCR for past support and sought KTR’s continued help in resolving the present issues.
