KTR to lead BRS campaign as parties intensify Jubilee Hills bypoll race

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills bypoll turned into a political battleground as all major Telangana parties launched aggressive campaigns. Ministers and senior Congress leaders began mass outreach across the constituency, treating the election as a test of strength.

Congress rolls out full-scale campaign

The ruling Congress named 40 star campaigners, including Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan. Party leaders planned street meetings, door-to-door drives, and local outreach from October 31 to November 5. Meanwhile, campaign teams started coordinating daily schedules and mobilisation activities.

KTR spearheads BRS outreach in Jubilee Hills

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) announced its action plan with K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) leading the drive. He will campaign in Sheikhpet on October 31, Rehmatnagar on November 1, Yousufguda on November 2, Borabanda on November 3, Somajiguda on November 4, Vengalrao Nagar on November 5, and Erragadda on November 6.

KTR will also hold roadshows on November 8 in Sheikhpet, Yousufguda, and Rehmatnagar. Finally, he will conclude the campaign with a bike rally from Sheikhpet to Borabanda on November 9. Party leaders said KTR aims to meet voters directly and energise booth-level workers.

Political heat rises in Hyderabad

Both parties intensified their field activities as the campaign entered its final phase. Consequently, Jubilee Hills prepared for back-to-back rallies and door-to-door events. Police teams began planning traffic diversions and crowd control for major gatherings. In addition, local leaders expect a strong voter turnout due to high-profile participation.
