Kishan Reddy urges Jubilee Hills voters to reject Congress and BRS

Hyderabad: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy has urged voters in Jubilee Hills to defeat both the Congress and BRS in the upcoming by-election, accusing the two parties of bowing to AIMIM and neglecting public needs.

Congress, BRS accused of appeasing AIMIM

Speaking at a BJP Mahila Morcha meeting in Borabanda on Saturday, Reddy alleged that Congress appointed cricketer Md. Azharuddin as minister purely to appease AIMIM. “Both Congress and BRS are working on their knees before the Majlis. They have ignored everyone else,” he said.

He criticised the poor state of civic infrastructure in the constituency. “Overflowing sewage, uncollected garbage, and non-functional streetlights reflect the failure of both parties,” he said. Despite two years of Congress rule, he added, promises of financial support to women and youth remain unfulfilled.

BJP promises development, accuses rivals of betrayal

Reddy accused both Congress and BRS of misleading voters with empty promises. He said former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s grand claims of turning Hyderabad into a global city had failed. “This time, voters should teach both parties a lesson. Support BJP for real development and dignity,” he appealed.

He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welfare initiatives, highlighting free rice distribution to 83 crore people and direct financial assistance to women. Reddy urged voters to back the BJP to ensure a better future for Jubilee Hills.
