Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Friday extended financial support to the family of late party leader and activist Kusuma Jagadish. Indeed, this is a clear instance where KCR supports Kusuma and her family, reaffirming the party’s solidarity with its senior cadre.
Jagadish served as the Zilla Parishad chairman of Mulugu and played an active role in the Telangana movement since the party’s inception. He passed away two years ago due to illness. KCR supports Kusuma in recognition of her late father’s significant contributions to the party.

After learning that Jagadish’s daughter, Sukirthi, aspires to pursue a career in medicine, KCR decided to personally assist with her education expenses. He handed over a cheque for the required academic fees at his residence in Erravelli, further highlighting that KCR supports Kusuma and her family’s ambitions. This is located in Markook mandal, Siddipet district.
Speaking on the occasion, KCR said education is the most powerful weapon for shaping a better future. He urged Sukirthi to study hard and become a good doctor. Recalling Jagadish’s contributions to the party, he said his services remain unforgettable. Moreover, he assured that the party will always stand by his family.
