KBR Park one-way traffic reviewed by Hyderabad police chief

Hyderabad: Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar inspected the KBR Park one-way traffic arrangement on a motorcycle on Tuesday and reviewed vehicle movement across key junctions. Sajjanar conducted the field inspection to assess how police were implementing the revised traffic system around KBR Park.

Additional Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal and Joint Commissioner S.M. Vijay Kumar accompanied him during the inspection. The senior officers travelled through several important stretches around the park while examining traffic movement and regulation.

They covered Film Nagar, Road No. 45 and Jubilee Hills Checkpost during the inspection. Subsequently, they travelled through Venkatagiri and the KBR Park main entrance. The officers also inspected traffic conditions at Mugdha, Basavatarakam and Agrasen junctions.

Sajjanar closely examined vehicular movement and the functioning of traffic regulation measures along the revised route. The KBR Park one-way traffic arrangement required field-level monitoring to ensure motorists could travel without unnecessary inconvenience.

During the inspection, the Commissioner issued instructions to field officers on regulating traffic and improving vehicular movement. He directed personnel to ensure that the traffic arrangement caused minimum inconvenience to road users.

The motorcycle inspection also allowed the senior police officials to assess traffic conditions while travelling through the affected stretches. Meanwhile, Sajjanar appealed to the public to cooperate with the police in implementing traffic-management measures.

He said public cooperation was necessary to address traffic problems and ensure smoother journeys for commuters. Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, D. Joel Davis also participated in the field review.

Traffic Deputy Commissioner of Police Kajal Singh joined the inspection along with the other senior officers. The officials reviewed the KBR Park one-way traffic system across the major junctions surrounding the park.

The inspection focused on vehicle flow, traffic regulation and measures required to reduce inconvenience for commuters using the revised routes. Police continued to seek cooperation from motorists as the one-way arrangement remained in operation around KBR Park.
