Hyderabad: IIIT Junction traffic diversions will continue for nearly one year from April 8 as multi-level flyover and underpass works progress, Cyberabad Traffic Police said.
Authorities said the diversions will operate daily from 8 am to 9 pm across key corridors, including Gachibowli, Lingampally and the Financial District. The move aims to regulate traffic around the construction zone.
According to the advisory, vehicles travelling from Gachibowli to Lingampally will take the Wipro Junction–Gowlidoddi–Gopanpally–Nallagandla route. This diversion is expected to ease congestion at the junction.

Meanwhile, commuters travelling from the Financial District towards IIIT Junction will use the Nanakramguda Rotary–ORR Gachibowli Junction route. Officials expect this change to distribute traffic more evenly.
Similarly, vehicles moving from Lingampally to Gachibowli will pass through HCU Depot, Masjid Banda and Botanical Junction.
Officials warned of increased congestion around IIIT Junction during peak hours. Therefore, they advised commuters, especially IT employees, to plan travel in advance and choose alternate routes.
The Cyberabad Traffic Police urged the public to cooperate and follow traffic instructions during the IIIT Junction period.
