Hyderabad police society felicitates 25 retiring officers

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police Co-operative Credit Society organised a felicitation programme for retiring police officers from the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate on Thursday.

Additional Commissioner of Police (South Zone) Law and Order, Tafseer Iqbal, attended the event as the chief guest on behalf of Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand.

During the programme, officials honoured the retiring police officers with shawls and mementoes in recognition of their services to the police department. Meanwhile, Tafseer Iqbal praised the officers for their dedication and contribution during their careers.

He also wished them good health, peace, and happiness after retirement. In addition, officials handed over retirement benefits to the officers on behalf of the City Police Co-operative Credit Society.

Retiring police officers receive benefits and farewell honours

A total of 25 officers retired on Thursday. The list included two sub-inspectors, 17 assistant sub-inspectors and reserve sub-inspectors, two head constables, and four language assistants.

Meanwhile, Society Secretary Nalla Shankar Reddy said the department arranged government vehicles to drop the retired officers at their residences as a mark of respect.

The programme was also attended by Mohammad Ismail, JAO Administration, Treasurer G.M.S. Victor, and directors Ratnakumari, A.S.D. Shanti, M. Keshav, D. Lakshman Kumar, P. Vineeth, B. Appala Suri, and co-operative society members.
