Hyderabad: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Telangana government has appointed Harichandana Dasari as the new Collector of Hyderabad district. The order to appoint a new Hyderabad Collector was issued on Thursday, marking another round of high-level IAS transfers aimed at streamlining governance.
Anudeep Durishetty, who previously held the Hyderabad post, has been transferred to serve as the Collector of Khammam. Meanwhile, Gautham, who was the Medchal district Collector, has been reassigned as Director at Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
Mikkilineni Manu Chowdhary has been brought in to take charge as the new Collector of Medchal, replacing Gautham.
Other key changes include GHMC Additional Commissioner Sneha Sabharish being posted as the Collector of Hanumakonda district. Shivakumar Naidu has been appointed Commissioner of the Land Acquisition wing under the Irrigation Department.
In the HMDA Urban Forestry division, Srinivas has been transferred out, and V.S.N.V. Prasad has been named as his replacement.
Revenue Principal Secretary Navin Mittal has been reassigned as Secretary of the Energy Department. The move relieves Finance Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, who had been holding the post as an additional charge.
