Governor Shukla pays tribute to Ambedkar, calls for constitutional commitment

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla marked Ambedkar birth anniversary by paying tributes and urging citizens to uphold constitutional values.

He garlanded a portrait of Dr B R Ambedkar at Lok Bhavan and led tributes on the occasion. At the same time, he described Ambedkar as one of India’s greatest leaders and the architect of the Constitution.

The Governor said Ambedkar’s life reflected resilience and determination. He added that Ambedkar dedicated his life to justice, equality and empowerment of marginalised sections. Therefore, he called his legacy a guiding force for society.

He said the Constitution framed by Ambedkar remained among the finest in the world. In addition, he urged citizens to reaffirm their commitment to its ideals and directives.

Ambedkar birth anniversary message stresses unity and equality

Shiv Pratap Shukla called upon youth to draw inspiration from Ambedkar’s life. He said collective efforts were needed to build an inclusive and just society.

He also stressed the importance of unity and fraternity. Consequently, he urged people to move forward with the values championed by Ambedkar.

The Governor extended greetings to people of the state and the nation on the occasion. Meanwhile, Special Chief Secretary M Dana Kishore and Lok Bhavan staff attended the programme.
