Governor honours blood donation champions at PV Narasimha Rao birth anniversary

Hyderabad: PV Narasimha Rao birth anniversary was observed at Ravindra Bharathi, where Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla paid tribute to the former Prime Minister and honoured organisations and individuals for their contributions to voluntary blood donation.

The Governor attended the 105th birth anniversary celebrations of Bharat Ratna P.V. Narasimha Rao. During the event, he said the former Prime Minister’s visionary leadership and economic reforms laid the foundation for India’s modern growth and prosperity.

Meanwhile, the Shri P.V. Narasimha Rao Memorial Charitable Trust organised its annual felicitation ceremony as part of the celebrations.

The Governor felicitated organisations, educational institutions, corporate bodies and individuals for their outstanding contribution to voluntary blood donation. He described blood donation as one of humanity’s noblest acts and appreciated the efforts of those promoting the cause.

Further, the annual awards recognised contributions made by institutions and individuals who actively encouraged voluntary blood donation.

The Governor said P.V. Narasimha Rao’s vision and leadership continue to inspire the country’s development and public service initiatives.
