Hyderabad: The Telangana government introduced nine more GHMC services on the MeeSeva WhatsApp platform, expanding digital access for citizens across the State.
The Electronic Service Delivery division announced the new services to improve convenience, accessibility and transparency. IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu led the expansion of the platform.
The government launched the MeeSeva WhatsApp and chatbot service on November 18, 2025. Since then, citizens have used the platform to access several government services online.
The newly introduced GHMC services include property assessment revision, birth correction, death correction, birth at home registration and death at home registration. Citizens can also use the platform for property door number correction, property name correction, property tax services and trade licence renewal.
As a result, users can now access more GHMC services directly through WhatsApp. Officials said the platform simplified digital service delivery for citizens across Telangana.
GHMC services expanded through MeeSeva chatbot
Citizens must save the official MeeSeva WhatsApp number 8096958096 to access the services. They must then send a “Hi” message to activate the chatbot. After that, users need to type the required service name and select the “Open Service” option.
Users must enter their details in the application form and complete the payment process. Once users finish the payment, the system instantly submits the application through WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, the government reported strong public response to the MeeSeva WhatsApp platform after its launch. Officials said the platform quickly emerged as one of Telangana’s fastest-adopted digital public service channels.
According to the government, citizens most frequently accessed birth certificate, income certificate, police challan, electricity bill and BIE result services through the platform. The government said it would continue expanding digital services and improving citizen access through MeeSeva platforms.
