Hyderabad: A new pet grooming facility was inaugurated at Gate No. 5 of KBR Park in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, by Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan.
The facility was established to provide professional grooming services for pets visiting the popular urban park. Officials said the initiative aims to improve amenities available to pet owners and enhance the overall experience for visitors.
Zonal Commissioner B. Santosh, Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Abdul Wakeel, other officials, representatives of the facility management, pet owners and members of the public attended the inauguration ceremony.
Pet grooming facility opened at KBR Park
Following the inauguration, senior officials inspected the pet grooming facility and reviewed the services being offered.
They also interacted with pet owners, visitors and representatives managing the centre. Officials discussed the functioning of the facility and gathered feedback from those present during the event. The grooming centre has been designed to provide services related to pet hygiene and maintenance within the KBR Park premises.
GHMC officials said the pet grooming facility forms part of efforts to improve public amenities in recreational spaces across the city. KBR Park attracts a large number of walkers, fitness enthusiasts and pet owners every day. The new centre is expected to offer added convenience to residents who bring their pets to the park.
Officials expressed hope that the facility would encourage responsible pet care while providing accessible grooming services in a well-maintained environment.
