Erravelli land survey report set for submission to Telangana government

Hyderabad: The Erravelli land survey report has been prepared, and Siddipet District Collector Haimavati is set to submit it to the Telangana government. Meanwhile, Revenue and Survey and Land Records officials have completed the survey of lands in and around Erravelli.

The survey covered 388 acres in Survey No. 325 at Erravelli. In addition, officials examined Survey No. 271 in Velikatta. The exercise followed directions from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to establish the status of lands in Markook mandal.

Revenue officials had already handed their findings to the district collector. Now, Haimavati is expected to formally submit the comprehensive report to the government. As a result, the contents of the report have drawn attention amid the dispute surrounding the surveyed lands.

The Erravelli land survey also involved notices to people recorded as occupants of the properties. Officials issued notices to 244 occupants connected with Survey No. 325. Similarly, they issued notices to 118 occupants linked to Survey No. 271 in Velikatta.

After issuing the notices, officials conducted possession surveys on the respective lands. However, residents of neighbouring Venkatapur had raised objections and submitted representations concerning the surveyed properties.

Erravelli land survey examined disputed boundaries and possession

Meanwhile, the survey covered land boundaries involving Erravelli, Venkatapur and nearby villages. Local discussions have focused on whether officials considered objections raised by Venkatapur residents while preparing the report.

Officials conducted the field exercise under security arrangements. Subsequently, they completed the survey after examining the relevant lands and records.

The survey followed directions issued by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the Assembly. Earlier, he had asked officials to establish the status of lands in Markook mandal and examine the related records.

Following those directions, revenue officials surveyed government lands in the concerned villages. At Erravelli, they examined the 388 acres under Survey No. 325. They also conducted a survey in Velikatta.

The Erravelli land survey covered the properties amid attention over the land records and claims surrounding them. However, officials completed the fieldwork and prepared their findings for submission to the government.

Therefore, the district collector will now submit the report to the government. Authorities will then examine the findings before deciding on further action concerning the surveyed lands.
