Deadly warning, not sweet: Mettu Sai Kumar lashes out at BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy

Hyderabad: Telangana Fisheries Corporation chairman Mettu Sai Kumar on Sunday issued a fierce final warning to BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy, branding him a “chamcha” and accusing him of slandering Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “This is my last warning,” Sai Kumar declared at a press conference, warning of retaliation if the attacks continued.

Calling Kaushik Reddy a habitual rumour-monger, Sai Kumar said he was overreaching. “Speak knowing your level. You have no stature to talk about CM Revanth,” he said.

He likened Kaushik to one among many “chamchas” in BRS, accusing him of making the most noise. “Control your tongue, chamcha,” he warned.

Sai Kumar pointed out that Revanth Reddy had once dismissed Kaushik’s political usefulness when he was PCC chief. “Even back then, he said you were of no use,” Sai Kumar said.

He challenged Kaushik to address the issue of a missing ‘Saru car 16’, asking, “What happened to the so-called ‘Saru car’? Speak on that, chamcha.”

He warned that insulting Revanth could lead to consequences. “Talk like this again, and you’ll end up like that other chamcha,” he said without naming the reference.

“If you think you’re a man, come and settle this with me,” Sai Kumar dared.

He further alleged Kaushik had brought hired rowdies from neighbouring states, and warned there would be no mercy if intimidation continued.

“This isn’t a sweet warning-it’s a deadly one,” Sai Kumar concluded.
