Hyderabad: As part of the community policing and visible policing drive, Central Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) K. Shilpavalli, IPS, visited several areas under the Musheerabad Police Station limits on Friday.
DCP Shilpavalli meets residents during field visit
ADCP Anand, ACP Chikkadpally Ramesh, SHO Musheerabad Rambabu, DI Nadeem, and other police staff joined her during the visit. The DCP team held foot patrols in Bholakpur and Boiguda areas, speaking with local people and shop owners.
DCP Shilpavalli checked the working condition of ‘Nenu Saitham’ CCTV cameras and reviewed safety steps taken at business places. She also went through the list of rowdy sheeters and examined their current activities.
Police stress safety and close contact with citizens
During the outreach, the DCP spoke to elders, women, and children about safety in their areas. She asked whether Blue Colts patrol cars and sector SIs were visiting the localities on time. After hearing public feedback, she told the SHO to solve the reported issues quickly.
People thanked the police for visiting their areas often and keeping regular contact with the community. They also appreciated the efforts of officers to build trust and improve safety through direct talks with citizens.
Later, DCP Shilpavalli visited Janapriya Apartments, where she met residents and gave tips on elderly safety, welfare, and home security.
Central Zone police boost community outreach
DCP Shilpavalli said that, on the orders of Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, all Central Zone officers are working to strengthen visible policing and community contact programs. She added that police are speaking directly with citizens and using WhatsApp community groups to share alerts and ensure faster coordination.
