The Serilingampally MLA also joined the awareness programme at his residence. Further, he urged residents to make Friday Dry Day a weekly habit to help prevent mosquito-borne diseases.
Officials demonstrated simple measures to stop mosquito breeding. Additionally, they asked residents to empty stagnant water from coolers, flower pots, trays and tyres. They also advised people to keep overhead tanks and water containers covered. Residents should maintain clean surroundings and remove mosquito breeding sources before they become a health risk.
The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation urged citizens to spend five minutes every Friday inspecting their homes and surroundings. Finally, it said regular public participation would help reduce mosquito breeding and build a healthier Cyberabad.
