Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Suzen Medicare fluids unit at Raviryal e-City in Maheshwaram mandal of Rangareddy district on Friday. This marks a new addition to Telangana’s pharmaceutical manufacturing base.
The inauguration event was attended by Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Minister Sridhar Babu, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, Legislative Council Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy. Additionally, MLAs Prakash Goud, Mal Reddy Rangareddy, and Kale Yadiah, among others, were present.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said Hyderabad’s ability to compete with leading global cities was the outcome of nearly three decades of sustained development efforts. These efforts spanned from 1995 to 2025. He described the Suzen Medicare fluids unit as a significant industrial investment for South India.
Suzen Medicare fluids unit aligns with the Telangana vision
Revanth Reddy said the establishment of a large IV fluids manufacturing facility using German technology reflected the goals of the Telangana Rising 2047 vision. He added that the project demonstrated confidence in the State’s industrial ecosystem. It also indicated policy stability.
The Chief Minister also recalled that the State government had unveiled the Telangana Vision Document Policy at the Global Summit. It set a target of transforming Telangana into a $1 trillion economy by 2034. He said it aimed for a $3 trillion economy by 2047. The State’s economic framework would be based on the principles of CURE, PURE, and RARE.
Stating that Telangana and Hyderabad were competing with global economic hubs such as Germany, Japan, South Korea and New York, Revanth Reddy emphasised support for industries launched by young entrepreneurs. He also underlined the need for private sector investments to create jobs. Additionally, he said the proposed Bharat Future City would be developed over the next decade as a model city that residents could take pride in.
