Hyderabad: Labour, Employment and Mines Minister G. Vivek Venkatswamy on Thursday launched CC road development works in Mandamarri town and took part in the Bhumi Puja ceremony to mark the commencement of the project.
During the programme, the Minister inaugurated the works along with Mancherial district collector Kumar Deepak and other officials. As part of the initiative, authorities will lay a new CC road from Bhagat Singh Nagar to Sripathi Nagar. This move will improve connectivity and ease local transportation in the town.
Addressing the gathering, Vivek Venkatswamy said Mandamarri had faced years of neglect in basic infrastructure. In particular, he said earlier administrations had ignored roads and drainage works for a long period. However, he noted that development activities gained momentum after his election from the Chennur Assembly constituency.
