Bheemgal: A man died by suicide in Bapuji Nagar Colony in Bheemgal mandal centre on Friday, reportedly because of a family dispute. The deceased was identified as Shaik Rahim, son of Daud, according to Sub-Inspector Tirupati.
Daud, originally from Korutla mandal, has lived in Bheemgal for the past 15 years with his two sons and a daughter. A dispute reportedly arose over the sale of the house in Korutla where a mother and sister live. Rahim went to Korutla two days earlier over the matter and returned to Bheemgal at 6:30 pm on Thursday. He went to sleep that night.
Rahim’s wife left home for work at around 4 am on Friday. At about 7:30 am, the couple’s children were outside the house and found the door of the room latched from inside. They called out repeatedly, but there was no response. His daughter informed family members, who came and found him dead in the room.
Police register case, begin investigation
Acting on a complaint from Rahim’s wife, Shaik Shaheena, police registered a case and began an investigation.
