Korutla MLA seeks fire station for town

Hyderabad: Korutla MLA Dr. Kalvakuntla Sanjay on Saturday urged the Telangana government to establish a Korutla fire station to improve emergency response services in the town and surrounding villages. He submitted a representation to Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.

The MLA said a dedicated fire station was essential to ensure the safety of residents and provide quicker assistance during emergencies.

Korutla fire station sought for faster response

Dr. Sanjay said fire engines from neighbouring areas often took time to reach Korutla during fire accidents and other emergencies. According to him, the delay increased the risk of loss of life and property. Furthermore, he told the Minister that a fire station would enable authorities to respond immediately during emergencies and minimise damage.

The MLA requested the government to sanction the proposed fire station at the earliest in the interest of public safety and welfare. He said the facility would strengthen emergency services for Korutla and nearby villages.
