Azharuddin reviews arrangements for fish medicine distribution

Hyderabad: Minister Azharuddin reviewed preparations for the annual fish medicine distribution programme at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds ahead of its June 8 launch.

He inspected the venue along with Telangana Fisheries Corporation Chairman Mettu Sai Kumar on Friday.

Officials briefed the minister on the arrangements underway for the event.

During the inspection, Azharuddin visited various sections of the venue.

He reviewed facilities planned for devotees and other visitors.

The minister directed officials to ensure smooth conduct of the programme.

He said lakhs of devotees would travel to Hyderabad to attend the event.

Azharuddin asked officials to provide adequate amenities at the venue.

He also directed them to prevent inconvenience to devotees.

Meanwhile, departments are coordinating arrangements related to crowd management and public facilities.

Officials continue preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme on June 8.
