Hyderabad: Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin on Monday assured action on Arutla infrastructure demands raised by minority representatives from the village.
A delegation from Arutla in Manchal mandal of Rangareddy district met the minister at his Secretariat office. During the meeting, representatives submitted a memorandum outlining several local community requirements.
The delegation sought a ₹5 lakh grant to acquire land for a Muslim burial ground. It also requested construction of a Shadi Khana and improvements to general infrastructure in the village.
Azharuddin assured the delegation that the government would examine the requests under prescribed norms and official guidelines. He said action would also depend on available budget allocations.

During the meeting, Azharuddin also stressed the importance of education and skill development. He urged community leaders to encourage young people to pursue education for long-term prosperity.
The meeting followed the minister’s recent field visit to Arutla village. During that visit, he assessed local infrastructure requirements directly. Azharuddin had also instructed departmental officials to initiate remedial measures after reviewing the needs raised by local residents.
The latest meeting allowed representatives to formally place the Arutla infrastructure demands before the minister. Their requests covered burial-ground land, a community hall and broader village infrastructure.
