Hyderabad: The Telangana government has granted administrative approval for Andole road works worth ₹16 crore in five revenue villages under the HMR limits of Choutkur mandal. According to an official statement, the projects followed the initiative of Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha.
The sanctioned works include the construction of BT roads, CC roads and side drains. The projects aim to improve road connectivity and civic infrastructure in Venkatakishtapur, Lingampalli, Korpol, Shivampet and Vendikol villages.
Andole road works include four projects
The government approved a 3-km BT road from Venkatakishtapur to Lingampalli at an estimated cost of ₹4.50 crore. It also sanctioned a 3-km BT road from NH-161 to Sultanpur-Korpol at a cost of ₹4 crore.
In addition, the government approved CC roads and side drains covering 0.50 km in Shivampet village at an estimated cost of ₹1 crore.
The fourth project includes a 5-km BT road from NH-161 to Shivampet-Vendikol at an estimated cost of ₹6.50 crore.
Andole road works aim to improve infrastructure
According to the statement, the projects mark another step towards improving infrastructure in villages that fall under the HMR limits.
The statement also said the government aimed to promote comprehensive development in the Andole constituency while improving public amenities through better road connectivity.
