Advanced Technology Centres boost youth employment in Huzurnagar

Hyderabad: State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Major Irrigation Nalamada Uttam Kumar Reddy said the government moved to expand job avenues for unemployed youth through Advanced Technology Centres, adding new training capacity and financial support.

He visited the Advanced Technology Centre at Ramaswamy Gutta in Huzurnagar and reviewed training activity. He interacted with students and examined facilities on site. The government set up the centre with an outlay of ₹46 crore, including ₹40 crore for construction, with support from Tata Advanced Systems and the Telangana government.

Skill pipeline strengthens under Advanced Technology Centres

At present, 172 students undergo training in specialised courses. The Advanced Technology Centres equip educated unemployed youth with industry-linked skills. As a result, trainees improve employability and move towards self-reliance.

He announced that the government will provide a monthly scholarship of ₹2,000 to each student from the next financial year. Meanwhile, officials will complete pending infrastructure within two to three months. These works include an RO plant, sanitation facilities, and other basic amenities.

In addition, the government is constructing an ITI building at a cost of ₹14 crore. The ITI will provide foundational training, while Advanced Technology Centres will deliver advanced skill programmes.

Later, he inspected the ITI construction works and directed contractors to maintain quality standards. He also asked them to speed up execution and complete the works on schedule.

District Collector Tejas Nand Lal Pawar, SP K. Narasimha, Principal Sriramulu, and other officials attended the visit.
