Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana distributed Aasara Cards to senior citizens as part of the 99 Days Action Plan – Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika, reaffirming the administration’s focus on welfare delivery.
The programme saw participation from the Additional Commissioner (UCD) and other officials, while senior citizens attended in large numbers.

During the event, the Commissioner interacted with beneficiaries and heard their concerns. She stressed the need for timely delivery of welfare benefits and improved access to government schemes. Moreover, she said senior citizens must receive sustained support through effective implementation of welfare initiatives.
She underlined that the Aasara Card distribution programme formed a key step in ensuring that welfare measures reached the intended sections without delay. The initiative, she noted, aimed to strengthen social security mechanisms for the elderly.
