Vivek Venkatswamy pays tribute on Ambedkar Jayanti in Mancherial

Hyderabad: Labour Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy marked Ambedkar Jayanti by paying tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar and highlighting his continued relevance in guiding society.

He garlanded Ambedkar’s statue at IB Chowrasta in Mancherial. Subsequently, he addressed a gathering and recalled Ambedkar’s contributions to social justice and equality.

Vivek Venkatswamy said Ambedkar’s ideas remained a guiding force for the nation. At the same time, he urged people to follow his vision on equality, education and social justice.

He said the Constitution granted rights that required protection by every citizen. Therefore, he stressed that safeguarding constitutional values remained a shared responsibility.

Ambedkar Jayanti message stresses equality and education

The Minister said governments must prioritise the development of weaker sections. In addition, he emphasised the importance of inclusive growth through welfare measures.

He urged youth to pursue education and contribute to nation-building. As a result, he said education remained key to achieving social progress.

He also reviewed service programmes organised as part of Ambedkar Jayanti. Meanwhile, public representatives, officials and party leaders participated in the event.
