Traffic advisory issued in Cyberabad for President of India visit

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory on Saturday in view of the President of India’s official movement, warning commuters of congestion on key city routes.

The President of India travelled from Rashtrapati Nilayam to Brahma Kumaris in Gachibowli for a scheduled visit. The movement took place between 3 pm and 7 pm within Cyberabad police limits.

Police officials said the traffic advisory covered major junctions, including Gachibowli, IIIT and ITC Kohenoor. Authorities regulated vehicle movement at these points due to security arrangements.

Traffic advisory covers key Cyberabad routes

According to the traffic advisory, congestion was expected on Road No. 45 via the Cable Bridge and IKEA flyover. Traffic was also slow on Orbit Ration Road and the Deloitte stretch.

Officials restricted vehicle movement at Gachibowli Junction, Indira Nagar and IIIT Junction. Police also controlled traffic near Pullela Gopichand Academy and the Brahma Kumaris road.

The traffic advisory remained in force from 1500 hours to 1900 hours. During this period, police enforced brief halts along the convoy route.

Meanwhile, traffic police urged motorists to avoid the affected roads as far as possible. They advised commuters to use alternate routes to reduce delays.

The Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, appealed for public cooperation. He said advance planning would help maintain smooth traffic flow during the traffic advisory period.
