Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee marked the 77th Republic Day with formal celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud unfurled the national flag at the party headquarters.
After the flag hoisting, Congress leaders paid tributes to national leaders. The programme took place under the leadership of the TPCC Seva Dal at Gandhi Bhavan.
Several senior leaders attended the event. Minister Mohammed Azharuddin, government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir and MLA Danam Nagender were present. TPCC campaign committee chairman Madhu Yaskhi Goud and former MP V Hanumantha Rao also attended.

In addition, Farmers’ Commission chairman Kodandareddy and Planning Commission vice-chairman Chinna Reddy took part in the programme. Minority Residential Schools vice-chairman Faheem Qureshi, Seva Dal chairman Jitender and senior leader Bellayya Naik also joined the celebrations.
Meanwhile, TPCC Seva Dal volunteers coordinated the arrangements. Congress leaders later offered floral tributes to portraits of national leaders. The programme concluded in a solemn and patriotic atmosphere.
